Ticker Tock

Summary

I’m going to build a funky little scrolling ticker using LED matrix panels. Ideally, there will be stock ticker functionality as well as access to a web app to control what the ticker is displaying.

Plan

For the first few days, I’ll busy myself with the web app and remote control aspects while prototyping. I’ll then prepare the Raspberry Pi, complain mightly about RealVNC, and connect everything together. I’ll write up the Python scripts needed and finish out the project with a (hopefully) public beta test of the web app.
